Saipal Base Camp Trek is one of adventure yet cultural trek. Mt. Saipal 7031m. is located between Bajhang and Humla district of west Nepal. This mountain is second highest mountain in west Nepal. It`s western base camp lies in Bajhang district. To trek this place one can, start trek from Chainpur capital of Bajhang. For that need to drive from Nepalgunj.
Northern base camp Thauban and eastern base camp Rani Kharka (Rani Saina) lies in Humla. Rani Kharka is huge green open valley pasture grassland for Yak, Jho, Horse, Sheep and Goats. Beside this, this region is homes of thousands of medicinal plans and endangered species like Rhododendron, blue pine, juniper, medicine herbs and high-altitude grasses, mosses and sedges, valued Mushrooms like Morcela Conica, Cordyceps Synensis and Ganoderma. The snow leopard, Himalayan musk deer, blue sheep and Himalayan Thar, along with many birds like Himalayan monals, snowcocks and lammergeiers, woolly hares, Himalayan marmots, and other small mammals.
