Pikey Peak Trek is moderate popular short in lower Everest region. This newly opened trek is offer panoramic views of entire Himalayan range including Mountain Everest. Pikey Peak Trek is less crowed without high altitude. We can explore Buddhist monasteries like Chewang and Thupten Choeling learned Buddhist culture, lifestyle, interact with villagers and surround enjoy breathtaking views.

The region is rich in flora and fauna including numerous medicinal plants, Rhododendrons, Pine, Juniper and Bamboo forest in lower elevations. Red Panda, Musk deer, Himalayan Thar, Pheasants and Himalayan monal are attraction of Pikey Peak Trek.

Geeting Pikey Peak Trek is easy just five hours drive from Kathmandu by Jeep. Best season for Pikey Peak Trek is March to May and September to November. However one can do this trek round the year. Instead of driving one can also fly to Phaplu and start Pikey Peak Trek. Phaplu flight is not regularly.

Sir Edmund Hillary himself reportedly claimed Pikey Peak offered the “best view of Everest.”
