Dunai is the district headquarter of Dolpo. During the initial days of our Lower Dolpo Trek, we enter naturally blessed Shey Phoksundo National park and eventually follow ancient Tibet – Nepal trade route towards Dolpo valley. As we trek along the rugged trails, we cross high altitude pass Numa la pass and Baga la pass overlooking amazingly beautiful views of Dhaulagiri, Kanjiroba and other snowcapped mountains. In this way, we further explore through relaxing pasture lands towards deepest and clearest Lake of Phoksundo and finally head towards Juphal airport before flying back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj.
