Overview

Kailash and Manasarovar is closed since the pandemic. It seems not open for Tourist for few more years. We Shambhala Holidays is arranging trips for trekkers and pilgrims who want to view holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar from Nepal.

We need to fly and trek in very remote north western corner of Nepal. One can good Darshan of Sacret Mountain Kailash and holy Lake Manasarovar on clear day. You need to bring good Binocular and Powerful Zoom Camera for better pictures. It is roughly 3 weeks journey which leads to Limi Valley’s 3 Isolated villages Jang (Zang), Halji (Waltse) and Til. These Buddhist village have thousands of years old monasteries and striking Buddhist culture.

We need good preparations and tents and foods are need to packed from Kathmandu. We cannot buy foods is these places. However, we can use some local food for new test.

Itinerary

Day 01: Afternoon flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. Hotel

Day 02: Flight Nepalgunj to Simikot and trek to Dharapori 2300m. Camp

Day 03: Trek to Salli Lagna 2850m. Camp

Day 04: Trek to Dharamshala 3500m. Camp

Day 05: Dharamshala acclimatization. Camp

Day 06: Trek over Nyalu Pass 4950m to Talung 3500m. Camp

Day 07: Trek to Gyau Khola 3800m. Camp

Day 08: Trek to Chyakpalung 3900m. Camp

Day 09: Explore Lapcha Syar and view of holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. Camp

Day 10: Trek back to Gyau Khola. Camp

Day 11: Trek to Takchi. Camp

Day 12: Trek to Jang. Camp

Day 13: Trek to Halji and explore. Camp

Day 14: Explore Til village or Tse Naga Dzong Cave back to Halji. Camp

Day 15: Trek to Jang Tashi Thang 3600m. Camp

Day 16: Trek to Talung 3900m. Camp

Day 17: Trek to Singjyungma 3200m. Camp

Day 18: Trek to Langdok La Phedi 3500m. Camp

Day 19: Trek to Yabka Khola 3300m. Camp

Day 20: Trek to Simikot 2650m. Camp

Day 21: Fly to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj. Hotel
