Overview
This Central Tibet Overland Tour connects two old capital cities, Lhasa in Tibet and Kathmandu in Nepal. The tour begins in Kathmandu and ends in Lhasa or can be done in vice versa. This overland journey takes you over several high mountain passes with spectacular mountain views, including those of the majestic Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Shishapangma. Your adventure tour continues to the historic cities of Shigatse and Gyantse. As you explore the ancient monasteries, forts and citadels you get an insight into the rich Tibetan culture and history.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu by morning flight and transfer to hotel - Hotel

Day 04: Drive Kathmandu to Timure and acclimatization - Guesthouse
Day 05: Cross border and drive to Kyirong (2800m) - Guesthouse
Day 06: Drive Kyirong to Lhatse (4150m) - Guesthouse
Day 07: Drive Lhatse to Shigatse (3900m) - Hotel
Day 08: Drive Shigatse to Gyantse (3800m) - Hotel
