Kathmandu Lumbini Tour is combined of Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha (Gautama) and ancient Palaces, Stupas and Temples of Kathmandu valley. During Kathmandu Limbuni Tour, we enthusiastically explore the religious, cultural and historical landmarks of Kathmandu’s Pasupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Basantapur, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.  After sampling these renowned world heritages, we fly to Bairahwa and drive to Lumbini the birthplace of Lord Buddha in southern Nepal. The Mauryan Emperor Ashoka’s inscription on the pillar erected in 249 BC describes Lumbini is one of the holiest place of the world, and its remains contain important evidence about the nature of Buddhist pilgrimage centers from as early as the 3rd century BC. The complex of structures within the archaeological conservation area includes the the Maya Devi Temple consisting of brick structures in a cross-wall system dating from the 3rd century BC to the present day and the sand stone Ashoka pillar with its Pali inscription in Brahmi script. Additionally, there are the excavated remains of Buddhist viharas (monasteries) of the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD and the remains of Buddhist stupas (memorial shrines) from the 3rd century BC to the 15th century AD.
