Our Upper Mustang Trek begins upon your arrival at Kathmandu, drive or fly to scenic lake city of Pokhara and fly to Jomsom. From Jomsom we trek to up toward upper Mustang. Initially, we make our way through deserted trans-Himalayan landscapes of Kagbeni followed by exciting visit through local villages of Chele, Geling and Tsarang before we arrive at Lo Manthang. The flattering prayer flags, numerous chortens and visit to artistic beautiful monasteries holding great religious importance gives us hint of Tibetan influenced cultures and traditions. The houses here are made up of stone and mud. We also visit the great red cave with numerous peeking holes on mountain where it is believed that Tibetan refugees had accommodated very long time ago. Mustang passing through authentic and unmolested traditional Tibetan influenced villages and get back to Jomsom via Ghami, Samar and Muktinath Temple. From Jomsom either we, fly to Pokhara and get back to Kathmandu or drive to Tatopani and trek down to Pokhara via Poon Hill and Gandruk village. Recent years Mustang traveler numbers are growing every year. In early days Mustang was less explored destination.
