Jumla Lower Dolpo Trek

Jumla Lower Dolpo Trek is the trekking route which links Jumla to Dolpo District. This hilly cultural Trek is one of typical trek in remote west Nepal.  In early history show Jumla was independent kingdom and founded by Baliraja, it’s headquarter was in Sinja valley. Jumla kingdom was ruled by Shahi dynasty and kingdom spared within present Karnali Zone. Sinja is just 2 days walk up from Jumla Khalanga. Jumla Lower Dolpo Trek is best for Spring and Autumn. If you trek in Summer than easy to cross Kagmara La Pass. This Adventure trail is separate from Kaigaun to the north and cross over Kagmara La Pass. One of the high pass in west Nepal. The normal trail follows from Kaigaun Balangla Kharka Tripurakot to Juphal. You will fly to Jumla via Nepalgunj and trek to Lower Dolpa crossing over several passes like Maurya La, Kagmara La, Baga La and Numa La to Dho Tarap valley and head down to Dunai and to Juphal fly back to Kathmandu. Gothi Chaur, Naphugana, Chhaunrigoth, Kaigaun, Hurikot Bon monastery, Pungmo, Ringmo, Tokyo, Dho Tarap and Juphal villages are major sights of the trek.

Day 02: Trek to Gothi chour 2780m. O/N Camp
Day 03: Trek to Naphukana 2990m. O/N Camp
Day 04: Trek over Maurya La pass 4000m to Chaurikot 3070m. O/N Camp
Day 05: Trek to Hurikot 2610m. O/N Camp
Day 06: Trek to Toijem 2910m. O/N Camp
Day 07: Trek to Kagmara Phedi 4240m O/N Camp
Day 08: Trek over Kagmarala pass 5100m. to Dasa 3800m. O/N Camp
Day 09: Trek to Phoksundo Lake 3600m. O/N Camp
Day 10: Explore Ringmo village, Bon monastery. O/N Camp
Day 11: Trek to Darjokthang 4150m O/N Camp
Day 12: Trek over Bagala pass 5070m to Pelungthang, 4465m. O/N Camp
Day 13: Trek over Numala Pass 5190m to Tokyo high camp 4520m. O/N Camp
